Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium is a funding route to support children who have a free school meal entitlement, are looked after or are vulnerable and need additional support.
It is separate to Special Education Needs funding and support funding for children with English as an Additional Language (EAL).
The principle we use at Oaklands is EQUALITY FOR ALL. Our Equality Plan identifies how we work towards this, using opportunities like Pupil Premium.

Sports Premium
The government is providing additional funding of £150 million per annum to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary schools. This funding can only be spent on the provision of PE and sport in schools.
The premium enables schools to ensure PE and Sport has a high profile, teachers are highly skilled and the provision offered by the school is of an outstanding quality.
