At Oaklands we like to bring learning to life so we keep a range of pets - lizards, tortoise, stick insects, crickets, chameleon...even fish!  We thank Mr Logan for bringing these opportunities to our school.

But our biggest venture is keeping 6 wonderful chickens.  Meet them below.  Our Green Team were involved in the whole process and as a school we decided the names of our chickens.

Our chickens teach us about nature, habitats, life cycles and how to care for animals.  We use the eggs to cook with and try different recipes.  We love our chickens and we hope you do too.
