School Administrator Grade 4/5

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed team player to provide administrative support across a range of tasks including front-of-house reception duties.

We need someone who:-

  • Has the ability to relate well to both children and adults.
  • Has the ability to work constructively as a team and an understanding of school roles and responsibilities.
  • Has experience of financial clerical/administrative work, preferably in a school setting.
  • Has good levels of literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Has excellent levels of IT skills, a good working knowledge of school data and/or finance packages would be an advantage. 

Key Responsibilities:-

  • Provide routine general, clerical, administrative and financial support to the school as required.
  • Undertake reception duties, answering routine telephone, open and distribute post, face-to-face enquiries and signing in visitors using our electric visitor management systems.
  • Maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems.
  • Where necessary, to assist with deliveries of goods and services, deal with spillages, hazards and make the affected area safe.
  • Assist with arrangements for visits by the school nurse, photographer etc.
  • To work with the team to adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures and to ensure all our pupils re safe and well cared for.
